In Portican, AI is a work tool for you and your staff. It advises, writes and does routine work in the admin, and leaves money and customer orders to people.

It takes its directions in the admin from the actual screens and reads the state of your store live. It drafts a product, edits page copy, shipping, emails or the look of the store, and prepares a bulk catalogue edit or a shipment with a label.
Three modes: it only advises, it makes changes after approval, or it makes changes on its own. Steps that cannot be undone, such as handing a parcel to the courier, always wait for confirmation.
It does not change a payment status, refund money or write anything into a customer’s order. It creates a new product only as a draft, which a person then switches on. A sentence slipped into a product description is treated as data, not as an instruction.
The name, description and search engine copy are written from verified data on material, colour and size. A filter in the core looks for sentences the model made up. The automation does not overwrite a product page that someone has already edited by hand.
You pay for the tokens used for text and for the measured length of the recording for voice, with no flat fee. Credit is checked before every step, so a larger task does not stop halfway.
Text and voice are processed by OpenAI, and only when you use the feature. The calls are set up so that the provider does not store the data.
