How do I preview a store I am building for a client?
Short answer
Customers cannot see this shop and nothing can be bought in it; search engines do not index it. You see it through a preview link that is valid for one hour. Nothing is charged until the shop is handed over to the client.
This text comes from the Portican admin, word for word as you see it on screen. When the screen changes, this page changes with it.
Good to know
- Wake the shop up: The shop is asleep because nothing changed in it for a long time. Its data is kept; wake it up to get the preview back.
Steps
Sign in to your shop’s admin.
In the menu, open Subscription and add-ons → Subscription.
Click “Open the preview”.
Your store can be online in a few minutes
Setting up takes a few minutes and you do not need a card. When you are ready, you connect your domain and move to a paid plan.
No card needed. The Free plan has no time limit.
