How do I offer customers QR payment or instalments?
Short answer
Nothing is switched on in the administration. When the shop uses Comgate as the payment gateway and the customer picks it at checkout, the checkout asks the gateway which payment methods it offers for the amount, currency, country and language of the order, and shows buttons for QR payment and instalments with the name given by the gateway. What is offered depends on your contract with Comgate; a method your account does not have is refused by the gateway. If the offer from the gateway does not arrive, the checkout keeps working and the method is chosen on the gateway. The same applies to a payment of the difference after an order is edited.
We wrote the short answer ourselves. The steps and button names come from the Portican admin, exactly as you see them on screen.
Steps
Sign in to the Portican admin.
In the menu, open Shipping and payments → Card payments.
Fill in “Payment gateway”.
Start with your store, not with technical worries.
